However Ruined is the only map which made it into the maps for the group stage, because there are not too many great duel maps yet. The Xonotic maps (Atomforge, Azalea & Ruined) have a good quality and nice gameplay. Final Rage, Red and Warfare (wiht slightly item placement improvement) are like in Nexuiz. Stormkeep looks much better now and Darkzone, Downer_final & Xoylent (Soylent) have been remade for Xonotic.

They’re a mix of Nexuiz classics, remakes and new Xonotic maps. Later on in the KO phase every player can choose his favourite map. The mappool consists of 9 maps and 6 of them have to be played in the group stage. Some players want to commentate (live or for YouTube) some interesting matches, so stay tuned! The group matches should be played at least until 16th November 2011. The tournament is already on the run, with no less than 29 registered players and 8 groups! Wow! Not Stormkeep-quality but Place some cells under MH like in the original map. My suggestion is that you put some rocket ammo in the main room Of them in a more difficult place to get to. Either place a few at some of these places mentioned or add a lot Replace the health shards in the tunnel next to the nexgun.Really hard to take if the controling player has a relativily good timing on it. The Fusion Spider has these neat pinkish projectiles that it fires out in a wide spread, but they just float through the air so slowly the creature ended up being not much of a challenge at all.

Layout has some flaws though, you very often run out of cells and rocket ammo. At least one other creature in my opinion was in desperate need of an upgrade in order to fit in with the rest of the pack. Going for it you can quickly jump through and try hit and then jump back into the teleporter. This new teleport placement also makes some interesting battles when someone is It really turns an otherwise unbalanced but great map into a balancedĪnd great map. Okey, after playing it several times I got some constructive feedback. I suggest u add a ramp to the sides of the jump pad if u decide to keep it to allow for a trick jump just like the ones in warfare or make an arch like ceiling to allow for a laser jump.Īs for the gameplay, most people out of control hang around the MA room and there are not many health shards or 25s ( to allow for a quick recovery from a fight) in that room compared to the 2 25s and MH in the main room, i suggest u add hp shards where it used to be in one of the entrances it was good for predicting enemy as well as extra health. The way i see it is u either laser jump (which in most cases u hit the ceiling) or u go to the jump pad which slows u down alot, its not good if u wanna steal MA coming from the tele. I played a lengthy warmup with a few players in this map and I have to say that the item placement is much better than it used to be and i couldn't have done it better myself, my only concern is the jump pad in the MA room, I think there are too many jump pads for that small map and the MA jump pad seems to slow down the movement when exiting with speed from the teleporter.
